This heartbreaking reality affects over 700 children entering the foster care system each day in the United States. Without essentials or a sense of belonging, these children face an uncertain and often frightening future.

That’s why we are proud to partner with Comfort Cases, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that no child ever has to carry their belongings in a trash bag. Comfort Cases provides backpacks filled with essential and comforting items, helping to restore dignity and hope to children during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

Founded in 2013 by Rob Scheer, who himself grew up in foster care, Comfort Cases was born from a deep understanding of the struggles these children face. Today, the organization has distributed over 200,000 Comfort Cases across the country, each filled with pajamas, toiletries, books, stuffed animals, and more. These items may seem small, but they send a powerful message: You matter. You are loved. You are not alone.
